Ex-law clerk sues boss and his wife.

In a bizarre court action of its kind an ex-employee of a law firm has taken legal action against her former boss and his wife involving payment of telephone bills and for defamation.

Halifah binti Haji Saidi, a 41-year-old ex-clerk of Daud Ismail & Company, has taken out two separate law suits against her ex- employer Lawyer Haji Mohamad Daud bin Haji Ismail and his wife Hajah Wan Noorhizan binti Wan Noor.

Halifah is a Bruneian and has workedfor Daud Ismail & Company for 16 years before she left the law firm last year. Haji Mohamad Daud, 57,is a Malaysian and is the sole proprietor of the Daud Ismail & Company, a law firm in Brunei.
