TIM Hicks salvaged a point for Carmarthen Town as they denied Newtown victory at Richmond Park.
Looking on course to register their first win since late August, the visitors had to settle for a point, but were indebted to veteran keeper Lee Williams.
He made a superb one-handed save from a Sacha Walters injury-time free-kick as Town came within a whisker of stealing victory.
It was Walters who had the first meaningful effort on goal when his snap shot found the side-netting after 10 minutes.
