Pyongyang, Jan. 8 Kyodo - Kim Jong Un, North Korean leader Kim Jong Il's third son and heir, turned 28 Saturday, but the North's media did not report any celebratory events.

It is Kim Jong Un's first birthday since debuting as leader Kim's successor in September last year.
