Ludeke says Bulls must reach higher mental level ZEENA ISAACS Rugby Correspondent BULLS coach Frans Ludeke yesterday said his team would have to reach a higher level mentally this season to defend their Super Rugby title, as the format of the expanded 15-team series would pose even greater challenges than in the past.

These challenges, Ludeke said, were the longer duration of the series, with the final being hosted on July 9 rather than the last weekend in May, and the fact that they would face their local rivals twice at home and away under the new format.
