from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency SHAH ALAM, Jan 5 (Bernama) -- Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) under the Selangor Anti-Irregularities Federation (GAPS) today demanded the resignation of Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim over what they claimed to be his challenging the authority of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

GAPS chairman Hamidzun Khairuddin said the actions of Abdul Khalid and several state executive councillors in politicising the appointment of Datuk Mohamad Khusrin Munawi as the Selangor state secretary had caused dissatisfaction among the people and made them lose confidence in the leadership of the …
