Section: Business News - Consumers will be able to buy Apple products at non-authorised outlets for the first time starting in June, under an agreement reached between the IT City chain and the local authorised Apple dealer SPV Advance, the Bangkok Post reports.
The agreement is a response to the rapid growth of sales in products such as the iPad and iPhone, which are available currently through a limited number of authorised resellers. Apple has a policy worldwide of tightly controlling retail distribution and it never offers discounts on its products.
