from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Tobasa, North Sumatra, Dec 28 (ANTARA) - Tears International, an NGO from the United States, will conduct free cataract operation at Toba Samosir (Tobasa) district in North Sumatra in March 2011.

"The free cataract operation is part of a social activity in cooperation with North Sumatra's Community Eyes Health Center (BKMM)," Tears International country manager Marganda Marbun said in Belige on Tuesday.

He said that since November 2005 2,323 cataract patients from Nias island and Tapanuli have been operated.
