statesman news serviceKOLKATA, 26 DEC: Congress leader Mr Abdul Mannan today said that in the forthcoming Assembly elections the Hooghly district Congress will go for an alliance with the Trinamul Congress to oust the CPI-M from the district. He said this at a rally celebrating the 125th year of Indian National Congress in Chinsurah today.However, maintaining that there are certain demands of the Congress, Mr Mannan said it was from this rally that the district Congress called for an alliance with the Trinamul Congress.
