RAILWAY enthusiasts in Ross-shire are hoping plans to revive an old line will go full steam ahead.
The Strathpeffer Spa Railway Association, which was formed five years ago, hopes to bring steam transport back to the village.
The group, which includes Frank Martin, Douglas Murray, David Raeburn and Steve Dovey, wants to reinstate the old two-and-a-half mile line from Fodderty Junction to Strathpeffer, creating a new tourist attraction and transport link for residents.
