from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Jakarta, Dec 21 (ANTARA) - The government will go ahead with rice market operations to control fluctuating prices and to maintain the rice quality in various areas across the country.

Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu said at presidential office here on Tuesday that the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) still had the rice supply of around 300,000 tons to go ahead with the market operation.

According to the trade minister, the market operation would be conducted at every area in accordance with the type of rice which was mostly consumed by the local people.
