TUNE Money Sdn Bhd, the financial services arm of the Tune Group, will kick off the new year with the rebranding of its existing prepaid card in the first quarter of 2011 and its first overseas market by the last quarter.
"The aim is for the prepaid card to be the primary customer acquisition tool. So, we really need a few core partners to generate the subscriber base, and we will leverage on Tune Group's related companies for this," Tune Money newly-appointed chief executive officer (CEO) Peter Miller told reporters in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
Tune Money's initial plan to sell unit trusts online is on the backburner.
