from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Padang, West Sumatra, Dec 17 (ANTARA) - The construction of temporary houses for tsunami victims in Mentawai Islands regency, West Sumatra, needs Rp 15.2 billion, head of National Disaster Management Agency Syamsul Ma'arif said Friday.

He said the money raised for the building of such temporary houses had reached Rp12.58 billion.

"The remaining Rp3 billion will be provided by the agency," he said.

The Indonesian Red Cross will build 516 temporary homes in Pagai Selatan, Mentawai Islands regency," he said.
