Brunei committed in fight against climate change: Minister of Development.

The Minister of Development, Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman recently led a delegation from Brunei Darussalam to take part in the Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico, according to a press release.

The Dec 7-10 conference was a follow-up of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen held in December 2009. It aims to come up with a Long Term Cooperative Action Plan to enhance and sustain the implementation of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and a legally binding emission limitation and reduction post-2012 Kyoto Protocol commitments.
