Section: Government and Politics - The Democrat Party's defence team fighting the second dissolution case plans to stress that the Election Commission failed to properly follow legal procedures in taking the case to the Constitution Court, a key team member said on December 2, The Nation reports.
Bundit Siripant, a key figure in the defence team, said EC chairman Apichart Sukhagganond had failed - as political party registrar - to announce his decision on whether the Democrat Party had committed any offence, before the commissioners decided on April 12 to pursue the case against the party.
