The background: If yesterday's band reminded us of the lingering power of a voice and an acoustic guitar, today's artist does the same for voice and piano. It's a male voice, one that keen-eared readers might recognise from a column we wrote a long, long time ago, way back when we were young, about a duo called Swimmer One , whose music partly underscored the poignancy of the passage of time.
