EXPORTS generated by locators registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority jumped 25.9 percent to $33.6 billion in the first 10 months from $26.7 billion in the same period last year.
In a report to Trade Secretary Gregory Domingo, Peza Director General Lilia de Lima said the bulk of exports came from companies located in private economic zones, followed by those in public ecozones. Information technology parks and buildings also contributed to the total export pool.
