Police officers, who arrested a drug dealer in a sting operation in Bangkok's Soi Inthamara 14, found themselves surrounded by a crowd who allegedly threw stones at the police car in an attempt to free him, a senior police officer said yesterday.

Presenting suspect Yindee Imsuwan, 26, along with 1.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine hydrochloride at the press conference, Police Bureau Division 1 Commander Pol Maj-General Wichai Sangprapai said Yindee was nabbed in a sting operation at Soi Inthamara 14 in Phaya Thai district.
