The Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak has called an emergency meeting with key executives of telecommunications operators in a move to defuse a spat over the award of a 700 MHz licence to YTL Communications. YTL Group's new unit YTL Communications was awarded with the coveted licence, which the other operators argue will give it a stranglehold over LTE services in the sector, The Straits Times reports.
