NCAA CHAMPION San Beda tries to extend its winning run against La Salle today as they dispute a semifinal spot in the Philippine Collegiate Champions League at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

With an almost intact lineup that won the NCAA title via a 20-game sweep, the Lions, riding high on a 21-game winning streak, will be fancied to prevail over the Archers in the 4 p.m. showdown.

Far Eastern U and Adamson clash at 2 p.m. with the winner facing the survivor of the Lions-Archers clash in the semifinals.

Defending champion Ateneo and Cebu titlist University of Cebu will meet in the other semifinal pairing of the tournament backed by Smart and PLDT. …
