Section: General News - The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) decided to add five more Iranian sites to the list of its World Heritage.

The regional music of Khorassan, the Zurkhaneh and Sport of Heroes rituals, the Persian Passion Play, and traditional carpet weaving skills in Fars and Kashan were listed during the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage held in Nairobi, Kenya.
