Section: General News - Thailand and Peru plan to expand their free trade agreement to cover services and investment next year when the kingdom is also expected to sign free trade agreement with Chile, the Bangkok Post reports.

Deputy Commerce Minister Alongkorn Ponlaboot said that Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and Peruvian President Alan Garcia agreed at last week's Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation (Apec) meeting in Yokohama to expand their free trade agreement to cover services and investment.

Two countries hope to implement their comprehensive trade agreement next year, he said.
