A woman suspected to be carrying part of Sh23 million stolen from a bank in Lamu a fortnight ago, has been arrested.
Anti-banking fraud police officers pounced on the woman last Saturday as she boarded a Yemen-bound plane at Mombasa's Moi International Airport.
The officers told the Nation they were alerted of the woman's possible connection with the Lamu branch manager at Gulf African Bank, who is said to have stolen the cash.
