NACC adds more arms to its arsenal against graft

Using more research data and technology and pushing for policy changes are the new weapons being used by the National Anti-Corruption Commis-sion, a panel said yesterday.
The panellists explained how the NACC had changed its tactics in tackling corruption, such as introducing changes to the rice-guarantee policy, getting the common man to monitor budget spending among local administrative organisations, and encouraging people to become more spiritual.
