Telefonica O2 Ireland had a total of 1.7 million mobile customers at end-September, down 0.1 percent year-on-year, as growth in the contract segment (+6.8% y-o-y) offset the lower prepay customer base (-4.6%). Contract customers accounted for 42 percent of all mobile customers at end-September. Total mobile net additions reached 5,000 in Q3 and 2,000 for the nine months, compared to a net loss of 10,000 for the year-earlier period.
