NICE has launched a dedicated section of its website to streamline the use of its guidance in general practice.

The microsite, which acts as a hub for existing guidelines, aims to keep primary care clinicians up to date with relevant NICE guidance.

The launch follows a new GP referrals database, also from NICE, aimed at reducing inappropriate referrals.

The general practice hub gives GPs easier access to guidance during consultations. It also includes steps to ensure a practice is up to date with clinical guidance and support for commissioners. Another section aggregates resources for specific groups, such as patients who smoke, or …
