from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency GUA MUSANG, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said campaigning for the past five days for the by-election for the Galas state constituency on Nov 4 had been peaceful with only minor cases being reported.

He said all the four reports that were received were minor cases and did not pose any threat to national peace.

"There were several minor incidents that we managed to control and we have carried out investigations. For example, the incidents where flags were burnt by several irresponsible people, and they are still being investigated. There was no major incident," he told reporters …
