THERE is a rising trend of outsourcing and white labelling in the takaful industry as companies seek to expand faster.

Under white labelling, a company's product or service is rebranded by other companies to make it appear as if it made it.

"There is strong potential for strong and experienced takaful players to leverage on their competitive strengths to be allies of other players, especially from a new market, by becoming either an outsourcing partner or a white labelling provider," Malaysian Takaful Association chairman Datuk Syed Moheeb Syed Kamarulzaman said.
