30 Rock's continued fun with the "Kabletown" takeover of NBC on Oct. 7 involved Queen Latifah as a congresswoman who wants to use the merger to diversify NBC's employee ranks.

She visits the set and bonds with Tina Fey's Liz Lemon, who declares. "TV is more of a boys' club than a white club."

With that in mind, AnnMarie McIlwain, the founder and CEO of jobs-based startup network CareerFuel, is hoping to find a berth on digital basic with Comcast and other big MSOs.

As part of the NBC Universal merger process, Comcast has committed to add 10 majority-minority-owned networks, and McIlwain hopes at least one will go to a woman-owned network: Hers.
