Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission director Patrick Lumumba on Thursday clashed with Parliament's Finance committee over the continued closure of Charterhouse Bank.
Dr Lumumba said the anti-graft agency had additional, but not necessarily new information on the controversial bank, which it has used to reopen the file on its investigation.
He said the bank should remain closed pending investigations. He said the additional information was in a dossier from US ambassador to Kenya Michael Ranneberger, and an email from an anonymous author.
