South Africa's regulator is set to publish interconnection regulations on 5 November. Following a public consultation and hearings, Icasa will publish the regulations ahead of its regular meeting with Parliament, which is scheduled for 9 November, Icasa spokesperson Jubie Matlou told local news portal ITweb. Matlou would not comment on the details of the expected cut in interconnect rates. The draft proposal was for rates to drop by 50 percent this year …
