Section: Business News - Software Industry Promotion Agency, or SIPA, will spend 300 million baht to boost the Thai software industry.

The agency aims to increase the market share of software products developed by Thai companies up to 30 billion baht in value.

Chairman of the Software Industry Promotion Agency, or SIPA, Supachai Tangwongsant said the Thai software industry is currently worth more than 550 billion baht, with software products and services accounting for 120 billion baht.

Hardware and mobile phone software segments are valued at 88 billion baht and 352 billion baht respectively.
