There's a saying among Apple enthusiasts that "once you go Mac, you never go back."

It is a mantra that has, thus far, held true for Power Mac Center chief executive officer and cofounder Lawrence Sison, who began working for a local Apple distributor fresh out of university in 1993.

The very next year, Mr. Sison, who has a degree in industrial engineering and management, decided to make the jump into entrepreneurship by opening the first local Apple-only retail store in SM Megamall. "The Apple brand was well-known to corporate users, but not in the mainstream consumer market," Mr. Sison explained, "We saw an opportunity." …
