Oct. 19--STARKVILLE -- Dan Mullen gave Matt Balis a single task this week: Get the Florida win out of the players' system. Mississippi State might have beaten the Gators on Saturday, 10-7, and might be ranked No. 24 in the nation, but that hasn't made the Sunday after any different. "I made sure that he reminded them of what got us here," Mullen said of his strength and conditioning coach. "There were some interesting faces walking out of that weightroom after he finished with them (Sunday). He got his point across. "At practice, I was really pleased with the focus. We're successful because we work hard, we prepare." So this week's focus for MSU is, well, being focused. …
