Section: General News - President Benigno S. Aquino III has assured the people of the government's continuing efforts on rationalizing use of public funds.

"No peso must be wasted," he said at the La Consolacion College Auditorium in Manila during the "Report kay Boss" townhall-style meeting Malacanang organized Thursday to mark his first 100 days as Philippine head of State.

The President noted that public funds must be spent wisely and not either squandered or stolen so government can have the resources to address as effectively as possible poverty and other challenges plaguing the country.
