Some of the Karimojong children who have dropped out of school in Kangole sub-county in Napak district

THE eastern regional Save the Children in Uganda (SCiU) team leader, Vincent Abura, has asked parents in Napak district to send their children to school, saying this would help build an upright society.

"This formal education will serve as a transition to civilised communities," he said.

Abura was speaking at a function organised to enhance youth's participation in games and sports for social interaction in Karamoja at Napak district headquarters on Saturday.
