PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has advised universities and tertiary institutions to design courses aimed at equipping students with skills that are desired by the job market today.
This, he said, would be achieved through investing in research and career guidance.
"Despite the large number of universities and big number of graduates produced every year, the rate of unemployment is still alarmingly high due to poor courses offered by students as a result of lack of career guidance," Museveni noted.
