FOURTY of every 100 Ugandan children die due to malnutrition, according to the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO).The country representative, Percy Misika, said 15% of Uganda's population is malnourished.
The number of people starving is expected to rise as the population increases, he said.
According to the 2006 Uganda demographic and health survey, 38% of children under the age of five are stunted.
Misika called on the Government to increase investment in agriculture to increase food production and food security.
