Apollo Tyres plans big sales push in Europe: Supply constraints to ease when Chennai unit becomes fully operational.

Apollo Tyres, which launched passenger car radial tyres in Jun 2010, now plans to increase its share in the 200-300 M tyres/y European market. The Netherlands-based Apollo Vredestein BV plans to have its ultra-high performance Vredestein tyres manufactured at the Vadodara facility for supplies to Europe from 1Q 2011-2012.
