from BUSINESS LINE, September 30, 2010 Kolkata, Sept. 29 - After the successful launch of its passenger car radial brands in key markets in Europe in June this year, Apollo Tyres is now gearing up to grab a bigger pie of the European markets, primarily through exports from its Vadodara facility.
The Netherlands-based Apollo Vredestein BV (AVBV) is planning to have ultra-high performance Vredstein tyres manufactured at the Vadodara plant for supplying to Europe from the first quarter of 2011-12.
Apollo Tyres, according to its Chairman, Mr Onkar S. Kanwar, is currently exporting 50,000 Amazer, Acelere, Aspire and Hawkz radials a month from Vadodara primarily to cater …
