KUALA LUMPUR: All the talk ahead of the Galas by-election continue to revolve around Gua Musang member of parliament Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.
Ku Li, as he is fondly known, was, on Wednesday, made Barisan Nasional and Umno election director for Galas.
He has been Gua Musang's parliamentarian since 1974 and remains its Umno divisional chief. Galas is one of the three state constituencies within Gua Musang. Nenggeri and Paloh state seats are held by Umno.
The Galas seat fell vacant following the death of Che Hashim Sulaima, 46, from Pas, on Monday of colon cancer.
