Enthusiasts assembled for an unusual DIY racing event which saw speedy dragsters powered by leaf-blowing machines and chainsaws. The Silverline Power Tool Drag Racing Championship took place at RNAS Yeovilton's Fleet Air Arm Museum in Somerset.

Racers mounted handmade vehicles and battled for GBP3,000 prize money along the runway behind the museum at the naval air base.
