Sept. 29--Few high school athletes are besieged by autograph-seekers, but 2010 Northwestern High School graduate Donnie Hissa often found himself scrawling his name across scraps of paper. To aspiring athletes in the Maple school district, the three-sport athlete was a superstar. To the parents of those young athletes, he was a worthy role model. Donnie Hissa graduated first in his class with a 4.11 GPA and is attending the University of Notre Dame on a baseball scholarship. In his senior year of high school, he was named all-state in football and basketball and all-district in baseball.
