US telecoms company Sprint (NYSE:S) and Research in Motion(NASDAQ: RIMM) (TSX: RIM) today announced that the BlackBerry Curve 3G (model 9330) will be available on the Sprint network from 26 September.

The companies said that the handset will be available through the Sprint's direct ship sales channels for USD49.99 after a USD100 mail-in rebate and with a new two-year service agreement. The handset will be available in all other Sprint sales channels starting 10 October.
