Section: General News - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already been tasked with negotiating with Saudi Arabia after the Saudi embassy in Bangkok refused to grant visas for Thai Muslims wishing to go for Hajj, according to Deputy Prime Minister for Security Affairs Suthep Thaugsuban.

The Deputy Prime Minister said he had already been informed of the Saudi Arabian Embassy's refusal to approve visas for Thai Muslims planning to join Hajj, the annual pilgrimage at Mecca city. He stated that the Foreign Ministry was urgently solving the problem.
