Matt Smith to carry on playing Doctor Who 'until 2013'.

The Great Billing actor landed the prestigious role in 2009 and attracted audiences of millions for his first series in the show this year.
It had been rumoured that the former Northampton School for Boys pupil could ditch the prime time show to pursue a career in Hollywood.
But insiders from Doctor Who reportedly said this week the star would be in the show until at least 2013.
An un-named source told a national newspaper: "The current team believe that Matt is the person to continue taking the show forward over the next few years and want to avoid the prospect of fans having to get used to yet another actor …
