Gazprom has once again doubled its gas purchases in Azerbaijan. This is an attempt to deal a blow to the positions of the Nabucco gas pipeline, analysts believe.

Gazprom has once again doubled the volumes of future purchases of gas in Azerbaijan. Having flown to Baku together with President of Russia Dmitriy Medvedev, the chairman of the board of the concern, Aleksey Miller, signed a supplemental agreement to the contract with the national state monopoly, GNKAR.
