The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has raised $280 million from International Finance Corporation (IFC), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and local lenders to set up 560 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP), Business Recorder has learnt.
According to a letter written to the Ministry of Water and Power on August 27, 2010, a copy of which has been sent to the Planning Commission and the Ministry of Petroleum, all three gas turbines for the upcoming CCPP have arrived at the site.
