Indian communications firm Tata Communications has opened Tata Communications Exchange (TCX) data centre in Singapore for IT outsourcing needs of enterprises in APAC region. The six-storey data centre in Tai Seng is situated in the I-Park media hub complex. It has 66,000 square feet of data centre space and will provide increased capacity for both domestic and international firms. TCX is part of the USD 430 million that Tata Communications plans to invest in APAC between 2009 and 2011. This data centre has been allocated USD 180 million.
