The next-of-kin of the July 11 bomb victims and those injured in the blasts yesterday received what the Government called a "compassionate contribution".

Several beneficiaries turned up at the internal affairs ministry head office in Kampala to receive the sh5m for the bereaved and sh3m for the injured. Prossy Nansubuga, who lost her husband, David Wafula, sobbed as she talked to journalists shortly after sharing the sh5m with her father-in-law, Job Wafula.
