265 INDEPENDENCE CHILDREN FETED BY MELAKA CM.
from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency MELAKA, Aug 31 (Bernama) -- A total of 265 people born on Aug 31 and known as "Anak Merdeka" (Independence Children) were feted to a birthday bash by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam and his wife Datin Seri Asmah Abd Rahman today.
The event was held in a hypermarket at the Melaka International Trade Centre here in conjunction with the 53rd Independence Day celebration today.
The Independence Children, aged between one and 53, also shared a special birthday and sang a "Happy Birthday' song before moving on to flying the Jalur Gemilang and singing patriotic songs.
